• Lorestan Province is one of the western provinces of Iran.Khorramabad is the capital of the province.

• Gahar Lake is located in the midst of the Oshtorankuh mountain range in the southeastern part of Durud County. This lake, known as the "gem of Oshtorankuh," is considered one of the most beautiful natural lakes in Iran.
• Falakolaflak, or the Shapurkhast Fortress, is a historical castle located in the center of Khorramabad in Lorestan Province. Falakolaflak is also known as the Twelve-Tower Castle. This building is situated on a hill overlooking the city of Khorramabad and near the river, and it is the most notable historical and tourist attraction in this city.
