• Marnan bridge is one of these historical bridges of Isfahan. In the past, this bridge connected the villages on the outskirts of Isfahan, but today Marnan Bridge is located in the west of Isfahan city, and beautiful parks have been built on both sides of it.
• The twist and turn of Margone Zayandehroud in this part where the Marnan bridge is located, caused the village near the bridge to be named Marnan, i.e. Margone, and after the bridge was built, the name of the village was placed on the bridge.

• Unlike other bridges in Isfahan, the wooden bridge was used for the coming and going of aristocrats; In other words, in the past, Jowi bridge has been the link between the northern and southern royal gardens of Zayandehrud. This wooden bridge was built to connect the northern part of Zayandehrud to the southern part. Because the Saadat Abad Palace, Ayanekhane Mansion and Nemakdan Mansion were located on one side and other palaces on the other side. With the construction of this bridge, the problem of the courtiers to travel to these places was solved.
• The Shahristan Bridge, in fact, this bridge was built during the Sasanian era and is the oldest bridge built on the Zayandeh River. But apparently its foundations belong to the Achaemenid period. On the bridge, there are traces of the Dilmian and Seljuk periods, which indicate that the bridge was restored during these periods.
• This bridge has many similarities with Dezful and Shadervan Shushtar bridges. Of course, Sassanid architecture was almost the same in the construction of bridges, and this is definitely the reason for these similarities.
