It is located in District 22, at the end of Shahid Hemmat and Shahid Kharrazi Highways. • **Sa’dabad Palace**, with its towering cypress trees and magnificent palaces, spans **1.1 million square meters** in the **northern part of Tehran**. In **1921**, after the coup, it was purchased for **400,000 tomans** by **Haj Agha Reza Rafie**, known as **Qaem Maqam al-Molk**, a close confidant of **Reza Shah Pahlavi**, from **Abolfath Sardar Azam**. Over time, additional gardens were annexed, transforming it into **Reza Shah’s summer residence**.
• During the **Pahlavi era**, the estate expanded significantly, with **several more gardens and palaces** constructed on various occasions. Each palace, with its unique architectural style, reflects a different world of design and aesthetics. The **Sa’dabad Gardens**, which grew extensively during the Pahlavi rule, were formed by merging several historic estates, including **Aqa Mohammad Javad Ganjei’s garden (originally part of Jafarabad), the Imam Jomeh Garden, Salar Jang Garden, Sepahd Amanollah Mirza Garden, Shokrallah Qavam al-Dowleh Garden, Hamdam al-Saltaneh Garden, and Mostofi al-Mamalek Garden**.
• **Milad Tower** is the **tallest structure in Tehran**, the **third tallest tower in the Middle East**, and the **sixth tallest telecommunication tower in the world**. Today, **Milad Tower** serves both **telecommunication and tourism purposes** and is widely recognized as the **symbol of Tehran** on the global stage.
• **Darband**, once a small **village before becoming part of Tehran**, is now one of the **oldest neighborhoods in the northern part of the capital**. Known as one of **Tehran’s top attractions**, it is a popular destination among both **locals and tourists**, often recommended as the **first choice** for sightseeing and leisure activities for domestic and international visitors.
