This province was the largest province in Iran before the division, but after that, it was split into three provinces, and the title of the largest province in Iran was given to Kerman Province<br \/>\nKhorasan Razavi is a province with its capital in Mashhad, located in the northeast of Iran. The term &#8220;Razavi&#8221; in the name of this province refers to the tomb of Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha in the center of this province<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>The tomb of Ferdowsi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The tomb of Ferdowsi, the great epic poet of Iran, is located 15 kilometers northwest of Mashhad and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mashhad among visitors. Next to the tomb of this epic poet, there is also a library and a museum that house valuable works of handwritten copies of the Shahnameh<br \/>\nThe tombs of two contemporary Iranian artists are also located near the tomb of Ferdowsi. In the courtyard of the Imam Reza shrine (AS), the tombs of other famous figures such as Sheikh Baha&#8217;i and Sheikh Tabrisi can also be seen. The Naderi Museum consists of two separate halls that showcase samples of military tools and historical artifacts from the Afsharid to Qajar periods. Recent studies have identified 14 petroglyphs near it<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Attractions of Khorasan\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Bardaskan <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Bardaskan is one of the cities in the southwestern part of Razavi Khorasan ProvinceHistory<br \/>\nBardaskan County has a historical background of several thousand years. The Firuzabad Tower is a remnant from the Seljuk period, the Aliabad Tower dates back to the Ilkhanate period, and numerous other relics, including the Chupan Hill from the second millennium BC, indicate the ancient history of this region<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Mil of Radkan East <\/strong><br \/>\nThe Radkan Tower is a historical mil (a type of tower) located 74 kilometers north of Mashhad and 26 kilometers northwest of Chenaran. The Radkan Tower, with a height of 25 meters, has a cylindrical body and a conical dome, and is a historical site dating back to the 7th century AH (Islamic calendar). The exterior of the building is 12-sided up to a height of 3 meters, and from there to beneath the dome, it features 36 grooves or half-cylinders, while its interior is octagonal<br \/>\nThe Radkan Tower, which was believed to be the mausoleum of one of the Ilkhanids, is the only tower capable of determining the four seasons, leap year, and the beginning of Nowruz.
