The provinces of Khorasan in Iran until 1383 (2004) and before the approval of the controversial law for the division of Khorasan were referred to as Khorasan Province with the capital city of Mashhad. This province was the largest province in Iran before the division, but after that, it was split into three provinces, and the title of the largest province in Iran was given to Kerman Province
\nKhorasan Razavi is a province with its capital in Mashhad, located in the northeast of Iran. The term “Razavi” in the name of this province refers to the tomb of Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha in the center of this province<\/p>\n

The tomb of Ferdowsi, the great epic poet of Iran, is located 15 kilometers northwest of Mashhad and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Mashhad among visitors. Nader Shah’s mausoleum has beautiful architecture and the Nader Museum is located adjacent to it. The Naderi Museum consists of two separate halls that showcase samples of military tools and historical artifacts from the Afsharid to Qajar periods. \nBardaskan County has a historical background of several thousand years. The Firuzabad Tower is a remnant from the Seljuk period, the Aliabad Tower dates back to the Ilkhanate period, and numerous other relics, including the Chupan Hill from the second millennium BC, indicate the ancient history of this region<\/p>\n

Mil of Radkan East <\/strong>
\nThe Radkan Tower is a historical mil (a type of tower) located 74 kilometers north of Mashhad and 26 kilometers northwest of Chenaran. The Radkan Tower, with a height of 25 meters, has a cylindrical body and a conical dome, and is a historical site dating back to the 7th century AH (Islamic calendar). The exterior of the building is 12-sided up to a height of 3 meters, and from there to beneath the dome, it features 36 grooves or half-cylinders, while its interior is octagonal
\nThe Radkan Tower, which was believed to be the mausoleum of one of the Ilkhanids, is the only tower capable of determining the four seasons, leap year, and the beginning of Nowruz. \nThe Firouzabad Minaret, or Firouzabad Tower, is related to the Seljuk period and is located in the Bardaskan County, Shahrabad District, Firouzabad Village. This monument was registered as one of the national heritage sites of Iran on January 5, 1932, with registration number 91. The tower has a cylindrical shape and a current height of 18 meters, and its decorative elements and bricklaying style demonstrate architecture in the Razi style<\/p>\n

\nMinaret of Khosrowgard <\/strong>
\nThe Minaret of Khosrowgard is located 10 kilometers west of the city of Sabzevar, in the village of Khosrowgard
\nThis tower was built in 505 AH (Hijri) at the order of Taj al-Dawlah Abu al-Qasim ibn Sa’id, during the Seljuk dynasty. This monument was registered as one of the national heritage of Iran on January 5, 1931, with registration number 77.Its height reaches 38 meters, and at the top, two lines of Kufic inscriptions and diamond-shaped decorations can be seen. The date of the inscription is the year 505 AH (after Hijra). The age of this minaret dates back about 900 years, making it one of the oldest and tallest historical minarets in Iran during its time<\/p>\n

\nThe Tomb of Sheikh Ahmad Jami <\/strong>
\nThe Tomb of Sheikh Ahmad Jami, also known as the Shrine of Sheikh Ahmad Jami, is the burial place of Sheikh Ahmad Jami, with a history of nearly 800 years, located in the city of Torbat-e Jam in Razavi Khorasan Province. This building dates back to the 9th to 12th centuries AH and is situated inside the city of Torbat-e Jam. This site was registered as one of the national heritage sites of Iran on December 5, 1931, with registration number 174<\/p>\n

\nThe tomb of Mullah Hadi Sabzevari, also known as the Tomb of Secrets, is the burial place of Hadi Sabzevari, built in 1874 AD \/ 1251 SH in the city of Sabzevar
\nThis structure dates back to the Qajar era and is located in Sabzevar, on the southern side of Karagar Square. This monument was registered as one of the national heritage sites of Iran on August 1, 1976, with registration number 1334
\nThe interior space of the tomb features a cross-shaped design, which includes cells and rooms. The decorations, restoration, and reinforcement of the tomb were carried out in the early 1960s by the National Heritage Association<\/p>\n

\nThe designer of this memorial was Houshang Seyhoun, and it was unveiled in a ceremony on April 1, 1963, with the presence of Farah Pahlavi. The builders of this tomb were several laborers from Nishapur, who were acknowledged by the government of the time during the unveiling ceremony<\/p>\n

\nThe Tomb of Attar Neishabouri is a historical structure built during the Timurid period on the orders of Amir Ali-Shir Navai over the grave of Attar Neishabouri. It underwent complete restoration during the reign of the second Pahlavi and underwent minor restoration in the 1970s. This tomb is located on Shadiakh Boulevard (now known as Orfa), one of the tourist areas of the city of Nishapur. The tomb of Kamal al-Molk is also situated within the grounds of this structure. This building was registered as one of the national heritage sites of Iran on December 9, 1975, with registration number 1173.Farid al-Din Attar Neishaburi, the famous poet and mystic of Iran, passed away around the year 618 during the Mongol invasion of Nishapur<\/p>\n
